At brunch now, and my college roommate, who majored in MATH and now works in banking (private equity), is teaching me about leveraged buyouts. Lilly’s listening too. — juliaallison
A mere three hours after sharing with her readers a four year old email, explaining why she values her college roommate’s friendship, we learn that JA is is gleaning expertise in the world of leveraged buyouts.  I can only assume that, in her next relationship, she will spend 40% of her time writing first year B-school memoranda about her new paramour’s business, and for little appreciation for her efforts.
The woman is a genuis, people, and a national treasure.  Not just some two-bit rag’s dating columnist or a talking head for a supermarket tabloid.
